Endovascular treatment of basilar artery stenosis with drug-eluting stent: a case report and literature review.

Symptomatic basilar artery stenosis can be treated with stents. However, it still has limitations such as technical difficulty and restenosis. We describe a 61-year-old man with episodic vertigo and significant basilar artery stenosis, who was successfully treated with drug-eluting stent. At 6 month follow-up, cerebral angiography revealed patent basilar artery.
